The Pulse of the City Soiree, presented by Arizona College of Nursing, was a huge success! Thank you to our guests and sponsors who joined us for an elegant and festive evening—all to support pediatric cancer care and research at Banner Children’s medical centers in Arizona.
The Arizona Diamondbacks recently announced a $1 million charitable gift from the team to the Banner Health Foundation to help make professional-level baseball training available to young players from across the Valley. Leaders from both Banner Health and the Diamondbacks were on hand at Banner Sports Medicine Scottsdale’s High Performance Center to officially dedicate the Pitching & Hitting Tunnels.

Proceeds from this year's tournament benefit the Child Life program at at Banner Children’s at Desert, Banner Children’s at Thunderbird, Diamond Children’s Medical Center, and Banner Ironwood Medical Center.

Hosted at Paul Martin's American Grill in Scottsdale, attendees enjoyed a delectable lunch and great company while learning about the latest breast cancer screening recommendations, types of diagnostic imaging, cancer types and staging, treatment options including surgery, and long-term recovery and survivorship.
